I was buying presents for my family today. amondst all for my father -at The Bay (I wanted a gift with purchase and decided to combine two good things).

The sales person was trying to persuade me that real men wouldn't be caught dead using the skincare products in periwhinkle blue packages.

Huh?

I did manage to talk her into selling what I wanted to buy - after 15 minute argument - but the whole argument left me puzzled. Okay, I am not a man, but for me the color of the package for cosmetics matters far behind usefulness and price. and I am pretty sure about my father's opinion on the subjuct as well.

I checked with my husband about his take on manly/girly color, and he admitted that he wouldn't buy pink alcoholic drink, but for skin care the package colour doesn't matter.
