I was buying presents for my family today. amondst all for my father -at The Bay (I wanted a gift with purchase and decided to combine two good things).

The sales person was trying to persuade me that real men wouldn't be caught dead using the skincare products in periwhinkle blue packages.

Huh?

I did manage to talk her into selling what I wanted to buy - after 15 minute argument - but the whole argument left me puzzled. Okay, I am not a man, but for me the color of the package for cosmetics matters far behind usefulness and price. and I am pretty sure about my father's opinion on the subjuct as well.

I checked with my husband about his take on manly/girly color, and he admitted that he wouldn't buy pink alcoholic drink, but for skin care the package colour doesn't matter.

I am not sure I got through her though - she just gave up and let me buy on what I insisted. But very strange, indeed.

У нас обещают сегодня грозу со снегом, а завтра просто снег. Так что весна на выходных поманила и ушла. Хотя вряд ли ниже нуля уже будет.

Здесь весной даже не пахло. Представляешь? На улице 13.03 - а тут - даже запаха заячих какашек из-под снега в лесу. Ну ничего!

-10 я надеюсь у нас уже не будет, но после отчаянно теплых выходных похолодало и общают снег.
