Jan. 20th, 2018 06:14 pmWell. I now have dreams that I write. Today I dreamed that I was writing a review of a book where A Very Young Princess Leia is being helped by Spike. it totally didn't feel strange, and now I kind of want to read it.
I actually recently read a book about A Very Young Princess Leia - it's Leia, the Princess of Alderaan by Claudia Gray. Alas, there was no Spike in it, otherwise it was lovely. It has made me love Alderaan and Leia's parents (adopted, obviously). The relationship between Leia and her parents were very well established, believable and sincere. There was also beginning of friendship with Amylin Holdo - one of the reason I picked it up in the first place. Vice Admiral Holdo is basically Luna Lovegood of the Galaxy Far, Far Away, which is fine by me. Leia's voice was recognizable, with adjustment to age - 16 in the novel.
