Forgotten post full of beasts

I planned to post about a long time ago, but then it slipped my mind. I do want to continue today's topic of wild life in Ontario, started by
janedavitt.
First of all, we are having the ladybugs' invasion. They are everywhere. Everywhere. Every day we find several in the apartment, much to the delight of my son, and take them to the balcony. one the balcony and near the entrance door we see swarms of ladybugs crawling and flying. I wonder, what are they up to?
Second, there are a lot of dead squirrels around. A LOT. Either it was raining squirrels or someone is building a zombie squirrel army.
And, on the happier note, D and I saw a real live fox crossing Dundas street, here in Mississauga. I was very excited, since it was the first time I saw a fox in the wild (if you consider Mississauga "the wild"). The fox was less red and fluffy then on pictures, but very business-like and purposeful.
