Hello world!
Sep. 10th, 2006 04:47 pmI haven't been much around lately - save for some commenting occasionally. I was (a) tired, (b) sick, and either stayed in bed whatsoever or breezed through my friends-list.
I haven't been in the best of mood either. We had pretty nice plans for the last weekend, that got ruined by my un-wellness. Plus the weather. The weather was all wrong.
Anyway, I missed some stuff that I need to write about.
First of all I have received a letter from
the_royal_anna, which couldn't possibly come in a better time and cheered me up incredibly. Thank you!
Second, I missed several birthdays that shouldn't be missed:
pukajen
lillianmorgan
monanotlisa
Happy very belated birthdays! Hope the year will be good to you. ;)
In other news we settled in the new apartment and have only 4-5 boxes unpacked. (books, so we are not unpacking them soon - nowhere to put).
Our neighbour has a cat that likes to sit in the lobby, which I find very cute as I can look at the cat when I ran back and forth. The cat though seems to be scared of me.
Being sick and miserable I went to HMV to see whether they have on sale any movie I want to buy, but instead I left with Moonstone - Masterpiece Theatre production of Wilkie Collins novel. I watched it and it is exactly the cheesy fun I wanted it to be, though not as good as reading the book. I mean, where were all those Robinson Crusoe quotes? Nowhere. But the cast was cute (except for the Indians, who were to cartoonish), the settings were nice, and I spent pleasant tow hours with it.
