I found the name of my malady (see above). Can be alleviated by a cup of coffee.

It is advantageous to read books. How else I would have encountered the word "matitutinal"?
If you wonder what book, it is Georgette Heyer, The Foundling.

Also it is avantageous to have a lawyer friend with the regular Internet connection. Then we can have he endless opportunities to bitch theatrically about each other's workand such conversations as the result (I am in Canada, during my workday, and she is in Russia, after work:

"Oh, my! I am working right now!"

"And I am working, too, even though it is Friday evening! And I am again reading the Tax Code, which is so awfully written!"

"Don't I know it! But I am rereading the Corpoporations Act, and it is as bad as when we were students…"
I wonder if I get drunk, would I understand it better?"

"No, I tried."

It is hot, and I entertain myself wearing silly stuff. Still, looking forward to the Canada Day - even since we changed our schedule and started working one hour earlier (9 instead of 10), I constantly feel asleep.

I don't do anything useful in life. I am playing the World of the Warcraft and killing monsters on-line. Very relaxing.

No seriously, is it too much to hope for an act that doesn't contradict itself? let alone all other legislation.

I love Heyer, and "The Foundling" is one of my favorites. I know that reading her back in my early teens helped expand my vocabulary significantly.

Unlike government regulations, which are mind-numbing. I wrote a quite lyrical bit in praise of the use of plain language in government documents yesterday; I wonder how it will read after the editors turgidify it?

Mine, too. I love the absolutely non-alpha hero so much, and romance part - even if it is somewhere in the background works for me, and all the riduculous adventures.
