Apparently, there is an idea to make a Wonder Woman movie with the possibility of Kim Basinger playing the role and Joss Whedon writing the script and directing. I checked the google: Here and Here

I would like to see a superhero of Kim Basinger’s age in a movie written by Joss. Would you?

Yes! to the Wonder Woman movie, if they let Whedon write and direct, instead of taking a screenplay from him and then hacking it up, as they did with the Buffy movie.

OMG! The Angel Soundtrack! You are amazing! Totally made my day! I've been crazy with the score music from Buffy, but there has been no use in trying to find Angel score music, until this soundtrack.

And to the wonderwoman thing, I really think Joss should stay way from it. There have been way too many super woman films in the last year or so that have been less then stellar and I wouldn't want to see him get into that...

This soundtrack has just appeared in UK - and I am also happy to have it. Answering your other comment (well, not answering, really) I have no idea about where each bit comes from. It doesn't say anything there, and I cannot remember it from the series.

About the Wonder woman - the thing is just some talks now, so it may end there, but if Joss would be given a free rein in it, and wouldn't be expected to give another Buffy - it may be intersting. That's why I am more curious about middle-aged variant - however I am afraid they wouldn't go for it.

It was released in UK, and nice people has made it available for us who can't or won't buy it. ;)

But you are right, it lacks some songs.

I would love to have the one Lorne sang in NFA on it.

on the other hand, it is good they didn't include Cordelia's rendition of "The greatest love of all"

Yes, I would love to see what Joss could do with the story of an experienced woman of the world as superhero. The mention of Kim Basinger as lead makes me hesitate to get too excited. It seems kind of an odd choice to me.

I am not getting too excited about the whole movie talk yet - it probably will end as talk, and won't go anywhere.

Kim Basinger - I don't mind her as an actress, and the producer probably bets that she can pull in an audience for it recognizable name of a right weight.

They have a possibility for a young actress, too - but neither CC nor SMG. Aparently it is just an idle talks, but I like the idea of older superhero. ;)
