Since I read a book on entertaining physics for children 18 of so years ago, I've been dreaning on building an igloo house. Really, it looks so cool (and warm inside) and easy, but when I have time and company, I don't have the right kind of snow, and when... I'll buid it some day.

Could you remimd my about that 27 January day? Because I will forget, even if I right it down.

Do you know why there are no books here by Astrid Lindgren apart from Pippi books? I looked in several bookstores (not of the same chain, I mean), and Alas! Kind of sad.

But I found Tove Jansson moomin-books, which is good.

What else random thing should I tell? I like British TV series. Some of those I have watched, I mean.

No Astrid Lindgren? How strange! There must be some on Amazon...

And I love the moomins! I've started buying them for the children! *happy sigh*

There are more of her books on Amazon, but usually people who go to Amazon know what they are looking for, and in bookstores one can skim the pages of many books. anyway, it is just weird: several editions of Pippi, and nothing else. Is it a conspiracy? Ideological reasons? Whatever? I have nothing against Pippi (it's not my favorite book, though), but where are Ronia, Emil, Mio, Karlsson, the Lionheart brothers, etc.? I wanted to make a gift, and the choice left me puzzled. (Also, Russian translation I read the books in rocks hard ;)

Tove Jansson is a good choice as well, of course. my favorite is Moominland Midwinter, though for young children I bought the one about a Comet. They are all great for kids
