Just how eventful do we expect an act of getting a bag with garbage outside to be? You pick up the bag, go outside of your apartment/house, throw it in a garbage can/what ever, come back. That’s all.

Now, what happened to me: my sandal fell apart near the trash can. It was, to be honest, rather old and decrepit, but I expected more decency from it than to leave me with only one sandal near the garbage can. Well, I decided that one sandal is better than no sandals at all, and hopped home under the cover of the night. Sure enough, I didn’t reach safety of home unnoticed – I met people, I met our building owner and, smiling nicely, I tried to explain that one-shoe walks are not my usual mode of operations.

Just call me Cinderella. But no pumpkins, please.
