Let’s try with the small stuff

My book club is tonight. The one I am co-running with another lady. And none of us has read the book we are supposed to discuss, because it's American Dirt and we just didn't wanna. But my comrade has a better excuse not to be present tonight, freshly done second shot of Pfizer. And I am stuck with being responsible.
The book club is online, and while I vaguely think we might want to meet in an actual place some time in the future, I am glad we are like that right now.
Anyway. Non-reading a book usually not a problem, but I wonder how many of us haven’t read it – the book did win the vote for May when we were choosing books to read.
I had my second covid vaccine shot last Saturday. With usual special effects, like chills and sleepyness. On the other hand, maybe I was not suffering from it, but used them as excuse to sleep most of the day? It felt rather good.
Now that vaccine is easily available for free in most places in USA, it feels wild that so many countries have no access to vaccines at all. I mean, there are a number of vaccines in the world that work reasonably well, it’s not just Pfizer and Moderna. But damn.
And since I can’t solve any big problems, but only cheer myself up after learning about them, here is a link to Felicia Day and Tom Lenk podcast “Undressing the Witcher”. They are fun to listen to.

The link on Twitter is to Apple podcast, but it’s everywhere in usual podcast places now.
