I am in glee.

The Witcher is pretty good so far. (I am done with 5 episodes out of 8). Not perfect, but I feel that it's exactly what I wanted for the past 20 years.

So it's a good adaptation of the novels so far?

I enjoy it very much. I'd say it is a pretty faithful adaptation of the first books, which are the short story collections - and some material from the novels necessary for establishing the world and the backstory. The series had to walk the fine line between the original Polish story and modern sensibilities, and I think they did well. I love all the characters and happy with all the casting decisions very much. Henry Cavill is great.
