The last week and the future
Feb. 5th, 2006 03:42 pmThe last week was rather hectic - two job interviews and a lot of stuff to do at work. The interviews probably won't lead to anything at the near future (both at temp agencies), but it was good to start.
I was also reminded of the major work-related flaw of mine - slow typing. Beside that I am as good as I can be. So what do I do to get my typing speed up? I know, the obvious answer is type moreand faster, but it only worked so much with me. I mean, if I could type faster, I would - wouldn't I? I should, however, type more, and that is my plan for the next couple of months - type mor and more.
But if you know any tricks or something to help me wiht the speed, I would be happy to know them.
The interviews also encouraged me to spend some money on the new clothes. I was mainly looking for a regular white shirt, and ended up buying one such, then a victorian blouse (it looks amazing on me!) and a skirt to go with the victorian blouse- all at H&M. also, some new make-up at Sephora.
mmm, that was some good shopping...
another question (not related to job search) I wanted to ask you - could you recommend me websites that you think are well-done? Good navigation, good organization of the information, clarity and elegance. I am mainly interedted in personal, not commercial sites, especially collaborative projects - so fannish sites would be a good example.
