[frivolous] and not
Sep. 2nd, 2005 10:02 pm[frivolous]
Today I ate my first Big Mac ever. Seriously. I would eat at MacD once in a blue moon, but I as much as I remember I always got something else.
So if you are curious about my impression? ::shrugs:: It was Big. And Mac.
[not frivolous]
It has just recently dawned on me the full scale of the tragedy that hit New Orleans and the areas around. Holy shit. Silly me, not really reading/watching the news I thought that the worst was over after the hurricane Katrina died out. And now I see that the worst is still to come. I don't have the proper words. I cheer for the stories of goodwill, courage and luck, and I hope for the best.
I've just read the story of Russian exchange students stuck in a New Orleans' hotel who attracted the attention of rescuers (and got rescued) by waving a made out of towels Russian flag. ::approves::
