Buffy Season 9

I've been thinking about comics with vague curiosity on and off. I cannot accept them as canon, but I am glad that people are enjoying it and arguing and even that steam on occasion blows off. Fandom is alive and well, no matter how many of old guard drifted off.

The question is: with so-called Season 8 moving to its conclusion, what can be done with the season 9 to make it fresh and trendy and attracting new fans?

when I considered the modern trends, the answer became clear:

It must be a 3-D movie starring Betty White as Buffy Summers!

Just imagine the possibilities:

Buffy finally has to choose between Spike and Angel - or has she?

Willow is creating a Universe of her own.

Giles is still alive for some mysterious reason.

Xander is trying to figure out whether he has any offspings or should he start making some until it's too late. Of course, he has a demon offspring...

This is the great thing about Nu!Buffy: ANYTHING is possible. No need to worry about things like continuity or logic...

1) I love your icon!

2) Great idea for a senior citizen Buffy (and perfect casting choice). If you've never read it, Vogonguard wrote a very enjoyable crossover story on this theme (a senior citizen Buffy). It's a cross with JD Robb's futuristic "In Death" crime series, with a little old lady who used to go by the name "Buffy" right at the heart of the mystery: http://www.tthfanfic.org/Story-14603/vogonguard+Little+Old+Ladies.htm.

I, at first, picked up Betty White because she is everywhere nowadays, but as soon as I did, I realized that I indeed would be more interested to see Buffy as a senior citizen than as a twenty-something again.
