I am not even going to pretend that the purpose of this post is something else beside expressing my delight on account my own birthday. ;)

I am 31, which sounds scary, but feels strangely okay. My mother (who is also a birthday girl today) is less happy with her number though. I feel simultaneously young and springy and old and wise. Sometimes feeling wise overcomes feeling springy, and I feel sad. Much knowledge = much sadness or something. Again, most of the time, I feel more stupid than wise, and young and playful as a puppy... Then I try to get serious...

the previous year has brought lots of small changes and one pretty big one into my life. I have much more worries than ever before (I shouldn't, really, but being a "Silly Elsa" of Brothers Grimm's tale I can't help it), but but overall I am rather happy.

I am trying to think of things other than the baby, but at the moment it is difficult. I'll get there, I am sure - but right now I keep missing all the TV and book and fandom stuff you are talking about. I hope to catch up some day - at least a little bit.
