When I saw the picture and the comment "I just like this test results" I thought for a minute the picture was from a bacteriology textbook or a journal article from Laboratory Medicine (a professional journal from the CAP/ASCP). I am a medical technologist and the picture was small, and it really did look like a bunch of gram negative staphylococci. After clicking on the picture I realized it wasn't, so it answered my question why anyone would post a picture of bacteria on a trashy novel site. STDs are not a part of any trashy novel I have ever run across. Oooh, a new plot device! I wonder if anyone will use it?
