I entertain myself with the Gender Genie that I picked up from Smart Bitches. Apparently it analyses one's writing and tells you whether an auhtor a male or female based on the words used. Of course it is impossible to take seriously, but very amusing.

in my case the study is inconclusive: half of my entries are written by a male, and half - by female (with a split arounf a middle 45/55% or about). Heh. Pity I cannot run my writing in Russian through it. Might be interesting to compare. Anyway, aparently I am Mr. Jekill and Ms. Hyde or someone like that - if you can believe it, of course. I am perfectly content being not qiute feminine me. But, still, this Gender Genie - hours and hours fun wasted time.

I was all in anticipation to watch yesterday Heroes and Studio 60 - to finally know what is everyone talking about, but our friends invited us to see The Prestige and we went. I have to say I have mixed feelings about it. The movie stays with me (plus, you know, Hugh Jackman) and pokes my brain, but the story itself - the story I didn't like.


or, and I just watched Veronica Mars, and have nothing to say, except: yay! I can watch it! next time, when I fugure out what is going on there. I am so lost.

I enjoyed 'The Prestige' overall, but I think the thing that made me not love it was the sci-fi aspect that was introduced late in the film and seemed out of place with the rest of the story.

I got somewhat spoiled for the sci-fi element, but even though I was prepared for it, and it kind of fit with the themes of the movie, I still unhappy with the story and characters. I didn't understand them, even though I felt I should have, that I knew what sense they are supposed to make. But they made not much sense to me.

oh, well. I can watch Michael Caine and Hugh Jackman in almost anything.
