Facts of life

It is a well-known fact of life that if I forget an umbrella at home, it's raining. And if I do take an umbrella with me, it's not. Today I managed to take two umbrellas with me. Nice weather, of course. and I feel stupid.


it is another fact of life that it is getting colder. That annoys me. I mean, I love autumn - the light, the colours, the smell, the weather, but the fact that I have to stuff my summer clothes in a box and forget about them for half a year makes me sad. I am very contradictory. yep.

the last Saturday we played golf. I played half-decent - meaning i mostly managed to hit the ball. The weather was... not as good as my play.

I keep reading books and don't post about them. recently there was a lot of Esther M. Friesner on my reading list. First it was Here be demons, that I bought because I like the cover. I liked the book, too - it was imaginative and surprisingly sweet. Then I read Harlot's Ruse, and I got bored - it reminded me too much of Angelique. Can't do a deeper review though.

oh, and we finally admitted that the life without TV is not much fun and got cable. Now I look bewildered at the program trying to figure out what I am supposed to watch now, Heh..
