Radio silence

I am jumping out of my not-posing to say that I am not going to post some more. At least now the reason is clear - we are going for a holiday this week. And there going to be no Internet. Which is strange and scary, but I hope we'll survive it. we are taking books and booze and friends with us.
I am planning to lead a quiet yet active life, and if you planning to mock my good intention, I'll have to say that it is 700 m from cottage to the beach, and that means that I will surely move more that every day now.
The June was.. many things, and I am glad that it is gone, even if it is a third of summer. I am looking forward to July.
Toronto is fun these days. One doesn't have to watch TV or check the Internet to know who played and who won today in Worldcup - one just needs to look at the street. Yesterday there was a big Italian party. today - well not sure. Today is Canada day, obviously, and I can hear the fireworks from the window.
One of my favourite smells is in the air - the linden trees are blooming, and making the summer sweet and light, the thunderstorms add some freshness - or at least the illusion of it, and the life seems quite pleasant.
Happy Canada day to the folk around here!
and - as I will be far away- Happy Independence Day, dear rebels south of the border!
/back next Sunday. hopefully will post pictures
