The thing with this TOEFL essay is that it is not so much about expressing one’s thoughts in coherent grammatically correct English, as about ability to write a strong essay in 30 minutes. And I probably wouldn’t write much about cows in any language. Still, I contacted the admission officer, and she told me that since overall score is very good, I just have to submit a brilliant thesis proposal and they will overlook essay score. So, I am trying to pull something brilliant out of my… whatever.
But thanks again – that really means a lot.
