I chose undead for two reasons: on the one hand, talk of show!canon (which is the one true canon) is alive and well in the cool, vampire sort of way, but then there's comic!canon (the bastard child a big section of fandom wishes had been aborted) which is also alive, but in the "zombies from Dead Man's Party" way, cause clearly the life has been drained a good deal of the fans.
