I am a bit in a weird non-writing head space right now, but I can't miss today.

Today Buffy Summers is 40!

Happy birthday, Buffy, please don't celebrate it! We love you.

So weird to realize that Buffy is very close to the same age as me.

It really is. When I was watching the show, Buffy felt so much younger - after all, my school years, and even my university years we all far behind me... But now we are all in our forties, and it a strange feeling

Oh, me too! I didn't actually start watching Buffy until just after the series had ended. (Angel was in its fifth season while I watched all of Buffy and Angel; I fell one week short of managing to catch up to the present and watch AtS's series finale live). So I was watching Buffy go through high school when I was already in grad school; so she felt much younger than me!

But yeah, like you said. Here we are, all in our 40s now! So strange.
