jonesiexxx! I tried to send greetings on Sunday via thoughts, but not sure whether they reached you - mostly all my thoughts eventually turn to the baby...
Now, my Top Fives - I am posting what I have now, soon (hopefully) to be completed.

It's hard to choose, so I went with ones I remember best.
5. BUFFY: That I'm, uh... in a band. A-a rock band with Spike here.
SPIKE: Right. She plays the, the triangle.
BUFFY: Drums.
SPIKE: Drums, yeah. She's, uh, hell on the old skins, you know.
This scene and Buffy's ridiculous yet plausible explanation of her life never fail to amuse me.
4. BUFFY: Hey, Ken, wanna see my impression of Gandhi? (crushes his skull with a club)
Lily: Gandhi?
BUFFY: Well, you know, if he was really pissed off.
so is Buffy's impression of Gandhi. It stays with you, really.
3. MASTER: You were destined to die! It was written!
BUFFY: What can I say? I flunked the written.
This is just the essence of Buffy to me - both in content and form. ;)
2. I'm beyond tired. I'm beyond scared. I'm standing on the mouth of hell, and it is gonna swallow me whole. (defiant) And it'll choke on me. We're not ready? They're not ready. They think we're gonna wait for the end to come, like we always do. I'm done waiting. They want an apocalypse? Oh, we'll give 'em one. Anyone else who wants to run, do it now. 'Cause we just became an army. We just declared war. From now on, we won't just face our worst fears, we will seek them out. We will find them, and cut out their hearts one by one, until The First shows itself for what it really is. And I'll kill it myself. There is only one thing on this earth more powerful than evil, and that's us. Any questions?
that speech is just... very powerful and touches me every time. and the look of bruised and strangely small Buffy (as in "smaller than usual") when she is saying that stays with me, after otherwise forgettable episode.
1.BUFFY: (hinty) Faith still has my room? Just love it - the line, Buffy's look (on my icon), the whole scene...

I have to say first that I haven’t seen seasons 3 and 4 for the last 4-5 years, and other seasons I also watched a long time ago, so I picked up from what I remember.
5. it is a tie between Through The Looking Glass and Parting Gifts. One has Crazy Fred with a bleeding heart in her hand, the other has Wesley The Rogue Demon Hunter in leather pants. I am easy; I don’t need much more to love an episode.
4. As I said, I am easy: give me everyone acting silly, and I am happy: so Spin The Bottle is my next choice.
3. Darla: it is just too cool an episode, being a companion to Fool for love, and by itself.
2. Damage: an eagerly awaited follow-up to the events of Chosen and awakening of many slayers, Andrew the Watcher, and good development of Spike’s story.
1. Not Fade Away It is just all kinds of right – and I cannot think of a better Ats episode.
If you feel like suggesting more Top Fives - go ahead. Give me something to post about. ;)
